The countdown begins~

As I sit here with Oliver and my fresh cup o' jo, which fuels my thought processing a bit faster in the morning, I reflect on all that has transpired over the past few weeks.  It has felt like a massive whirlwind,  so many amazing things accomplished, learning experiences acknowledged yet much more to do in a very short period of time.  I am learning more and more about enjoying every in between moment and to find peace and rest through the whole process of the unknown.  So often it's easy to look ahead at what is to come, and the adventure we are going to be embarking on and think of that as the big event and forget the rest.  Yet, some of the most powerful lessons have been learned in the smallest of things here.  Derick and I found a renter, to take care of our place while we are gone.  This was such a  huge answer to prayer.  I get to come back to my job at the Harbour Public House, which I am grateful for.  The community of women there, the relationships that have been built, and everything in between has been an overall great fit for me in transition of living back on this side of the water.  Our little man Oliver has a home with Derick's parents.  I am sure Oliver will get pampered with the luxury of riding on the fork lift and tractor often. One fun little highlight of this past week was going to value village to find clothes to take with us and I have never seen a more cheerful shopper than Derick.  You would have thought the man found gold in there, but instead came out with a cart load of everything he needed for the trip for the "best prices in the whole world!"  If any of you have men that hate shopping take them to the 99 cent rack at value village and they will be happy as clams;)  This next week is our last full week here....so may the count down begin.
Cheers,
Kels
